Welcome to Heluxy! Before using our website and services, please read and understand the following Terms and Conditions. You agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions by accessing or using our website. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please refrain from using our website.

Rental Agreement

1.1. The rental agreement will be between Heluxy(“we,” “us,” or “our”) and the renter (“you” or “your”). The agreement will be governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Vehicle Reservation and Rental

2.1. You must be at least 21 to make a reservation and hold a valid driver’s license.

2.2. There is a daily limit of 250km. Any additional kilometres will be charged at 10 AED per kilometre.

2.3. We will deduct expenses related to SALIK Toll Gates, parking fees, and traffic fines from the security deposit.

2.4. Up to two drivers can be registered and allowed to drive the rental car.

Driver’s License and Identification

3.1. You must present a valid driver’s license and identification document (such as a passport) at the time of vehicle pick-up.

3.2. The driver’s license must be valid and one year old.

Payment and Security Deposit

4.1. The rental charges, including applicable taxes, fees, and optional extras, must be paid in advance or at pick-up, per the agreed terms.

4.2. A security deposit of 5000 AED can be made using a debit card, credit card, or cash. This amount will be returned to your account 20 days after the last rental date.

4.3. To make a reservation, a Credit/Visa Card is mandatory. When picking up the vehicle, the primary driver must have a Credit Card under their name. The Card should have adequate funds to cover the excess/deposit amount, which will be temporarily held on the Card throughout the rental period. Additionally, the Card may be used for settling local fees, additional equipment charges, and any other purchases made at the car rental counter.

Rental Extension and Returns

5.1. If you wish to extend the rental period, notify us in advance and obtain approval. Otherwise, it may result in additional charges.

5.2. The vehicle must be returned to the agreed location at the end of the rental period with the same fuel level and in the same condition as when it was received.

5.3. Late returns may incur additional charges, and the renter will be responsible for any damages or losses during the extended rental period.

Insurance and Liability

6.1. Our vehicles are insured against third-party liability and are subject to the terms and conditions of the insurance policy.

6.2. The renter will be responsible for any damages, losses, or theft of the vehicle during the rental period up to the excess amount specified in the rental agreement.

Prohibited Activities

7.1. Smoking is strictly prohibited in the rental car. If smoking is detected, a fee of 1500 AED will be applied for cleaning and sanitization purposes.

7.2. Off-road driving on sand is strictly prohibited.

7.3. Other prohibited activities include:

a) Use of the vehicle for any illegal purposes.

b) Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

c) Transporting more passengers than the vehicle’s capacity or using the vehicle for commercial purposes without prior approval.

d) Driving outside the boundaries of the UAE.

Cancellation and Refunds

8.1. Cancellations must be made following our cancellation policy, which will be provided to you at the time of reservation.

8.2. Refunds, if applicable, will be processed as per our refund policy, subject to any applicable fees or deductions.

Limitation of Liability

9.1. We will not be liable for any damages, losses, or inconveniences arising from using our website, rental services, or vehicles, except where prohibited by law.

9.2. We will not be liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages.

Privacy and Data Protection

10.1. We will collect and process your personal information following our Privacy Policy, which can be accessed on our website.

Amendments to Terms and Conditions

11.1. We reserve the right to update or modify our Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.

11.2. Any changes will be effective upon posting the revised Terms and Conditions on our website.
